Wow, looks like ubuntu includes chromium in their universe repo [community maintained open source software]. Yet if we look at the copyright file [1] for the latest release, there is plenty of files with License: UNKNOWN and files supposedly under some variant of BSD with Copyright: UNKNOWN.

The licenses must be carefully reviewed in order to proceed. Even if it was free as in freedom (we still don't know), another repository for free as in freedom plugins needs to be made and a modification to the browser's source code is needed before including it in trisquel's repos.
