SOLVED!
So I finally setup a CD drive and a CD and it doesn't work like it does in
the guy's video. First of all it is not recognized in the Boot Manager menu
in UEFI mode and second of all it fails with the same "Unable to find a
medium containing a live file system" error in legacy mode.

does that also count for icedove?

Framasoft, a French association that fights for free software and against
Google's monopoly, hosts that service.
The script is OK: it should start at runlevel 2 (in fact it starts at any
runlevel but 0 and 6) and stop at runlevel 0, 1 and 6. Since you are at
runlevel 2, I really do not understand why it does not start.
I think it could indeed work to write "start lxdm" before the 'exit' command

For some reason the workaround at

does not work for me. At the prompt I cannot find a device for my USB stick.
The only device found is my harddrive at /dev/sda.
None are "free hardware" that you can study, share/modify designs of and
manufacture. h-node lists devices that "work with a fully free
operating system" and ones that do not.

You can actually check that alone:
Go to http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/supported_devices/index.html
Select the type and the model of the printer and click "continue"
Check that "Support level" is "Full", that "Recommended?" is "Yes", that
"Driver plug-in" is "None" and that "Requires fir
If it is correct that the h node amd cards listing is incorrect, then what
pci e cards are free hardware supporting 3d acceleration?
What nvidia pci e graphic cards with 3d acceleration are free hardware? Is it
not good to use a nvidia graphic card on an amd mainboard?
If I do not, tell me what it is? I thought the h node was a listing of free
hardware.
Hi, I am using a trisquel 7 Belenos iso.
I downloaded an image, and it's automatically stretched when chosen from
system configuration/wallpaper, I don t know how to choose center or any
other display image option.
Anyone knows how?
Thanks : )
It ran out of the box here too. Got it configured in less than 1 minute. It
would be nice to have a package.
The only problem is that somehow I couldn't do git pushes through or SCP
uploads. I tried later and it worked, though. I wonder if it was just a
temporary network instability or if t
De jure, they're not released yet.
De facto, everyone seems to be saying that it works fine.

Personally, I( think the most proper way to do an installation would be to

Is this Trisquel or Trisquel mini? Version 6? Is this a fresh install? What
happens?
Hi
on my laptop I can't re log in myself if I have previously logged out.
The only HW that have nonfree driver are the wifi card but is disabled, have
you any ideas?
Is like nike logo.. it isn't?
What about booting trisquel in computer (desktop, laptop) that have a uefi
only bios?
How I can Get Trisquel 7 ?
You may need this: [1]
sudo apt-get -s install --install-recommends linux-generic-lts-trusty
linux-image-generic-lts-trusty \
linux-headers-generic-lts-trusty xserver-xorg-lts-trusty

So you basically want to say that it took two years to remove a package in
order to fix a bug with highest priority (which the existence of nonfree
software in trisquel in fact is)?
Sorry, but it gets harder and harder for me to take trisquel seriously
> Wasn't Trisquel going to be moved to being based on Debian?
No but it was based on Debian in the ancient past. (gNewSense did transition
vice versa)
