I know.
'AAA' implies quality, and I said "We got Freedoom, bitches!" implying that
Freedoom was of higher quality than an AAA game in a half-jest half-not-jest
manner.
Er... Freedoom is not a AAA game. That term refers to games with really high
budgets and marketing, and I'm pretty sure Freedoom has little or none of
either.
Yea, it's pretty awesome. :)
I've played Odamex with some great WADs- it's perfect.
I have to admit that I have spent WAY too much time playing this. It is all
the joy of Doom from the 90's but done so much better.

Well, I'm happy to say that Ruben has greatly improved Trisquel's development
process and made it easier to contribute. Now all we need is more
volunteers...
My ISP gave me a Motorola Surfboard modem/router combo and it hates the Think
Penguin adapter in both GNU/Linx and Windows 7. It would be nice that I could
eventually use my own router.
Now you know why FLOSS projects backed by a company like Canonical, Google,
or Red Hat are more sustainable than 1 man teams. Makes you wonder how much
longer Ruben can keep this project going and bleed money working on it.
Its sad to see Crunchbang go, but I never had a need to use it either
what wifi card are you using i read
and learned from experience
that the wireless N card

I know Crunchbang Linux is not a Libre Distro., based on Debian Stable with
openbox and alot of custom scripts, however, I include this forum link where
the developer (corenominal) announces the end of the distro., as food for
thought for all "small" distros. Crunchbang was around for over 1
Questions:
Do you still have gnome-panel in your system via apt-get or synaptic?
What happens when you type "gnome-panel" into your terminal (without quotes
of course)?
Thanks, I'll try Ardour then.
BTW I'd like to precise that I'm not even a musician, I just downloaded
ableton cause sometimes I like to improvise something to kill time. So thanks
for the help, but don't worry too much, trisquel users, I think I can live
without ableton =P also cause I don't
yeah, you are right, didn't think about it... lol, I guess this stuff
confuses me. I'll try to download gnome shell then, after I get the right
wi-fi card. This one

is good if now I'm using this one

This is true. If you look at the checksums of unpatched packages, they are
the same as those in Ubuntu.
For example,

bottom for checksums)

this is how you install

you can edit comments
I couldn't edit that one; I think once someone replies you can't edit it.
And I meant to say run ./configure, not autogen.sh.
Try installing libcupsimage2-dev
i was trying to compile this and
when i run ./configure
i get this error:
configure: error: "cups-config" command not found. Please install the CUPS
development package.
i cant find cups-config in the Trsiquel repos or on the internet
dose anyone know were to find this
it dose not look like
You should be able to download from
https://github.com/pdewacht/brlaser/releases/download/v3/brlaser-3.tar.gz.
Then run (in the terminal) autogen.sh and make
Solved ! Both USB ports work fine ... I actually had them plugged in OK from
the get-go, but was nervous about testing, for fear of letting that magic
smoke escape once again.
Greetings ladies and gentlemen:
I've recently been playing Freedom 0.9 and Strainfix through Freedoom and I'm
impressed. I recommend it if you have spare time.
Odamex and Prboom-plus are very good engines but only prboom-plus is in
Trisquel's repos. Odamex can be compiled without problems b
In order to free up some ethernet lines on my router, I got a
ThinkPenguin.com USB wireless ethernet adapter. It works OK, but my FIOS
connection is flaky, and the wireless ethernet connection gets dropped
frequently (on other PC's too). This is probably not ThinkPenguin's fault,
but in ord

And, if you are searching for a better MIDI editing support than Ardour 3.
Consider using Qtractor as a solution. I start every composition with it
(even if it looks pretty ugly) and then record my MIDI track to a D.A.W like
Ardour 2 ou 3. There is also plenty of plug-in to use with these sof

Both responses are correct:
I was imagining that +12V pin (Pins 1 & 2 on Intel's drawing of the MB

so how do i make this run on a gameboy?
i tried renaming it to a .gb file and running it in a emulator but it gave me
a error
i assume this was becuase the file was in the ASCII format
if the file was pure hex would it run?
Could you explain me how to install brlaser? I have no clue how.
Once "gdebi" installed, you can simply double-click on a .deb package to then
ask for its installation/removal. At least, it works with Nautilus (GNOME and
Trisquel's default file browser).
Thanks. I was able to do it following your instructions.
Open the terminal emulator and do the following:
$ sudo aptitude install gdebi
Then, go to Anki's webpage and download the Ubuntu/Debian's version.
Use the terminal emulator with the "cd" command to go to the directory where
the new file is, for example:
$ cd Downloads
After that, use gdeb
I'd like to install the latest Anki version. Not from the repository as this
would install an older version.
I tried to do it by downloading the latest package and using Package Manager
to install but it doesn't work.
Only the older version shows up when using that program. Maybe I'm missing
One alternative could be Policeman
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/policeman/ I have not tested
it but it has received good reviews.
I did what you suggested and although it took some time to delete them, it
worked in the end.
Now things seem to be normal. Thanks for your help!
