When you have a doubt, the first thing to do is to use a search engine. If
you search well and are unable to find anything relevant or pointers to
further information, then ask. This is better for you because you may answer
your inquiry faster, and better for the rest because you don't
Great! I'll remove that from the wiki page then.
There was also a second question, which banana answered.
I was serious about it. Having more language support means potentially having
more free software users. So Portuguese and Italian forums! Germans already
have a forum deavmi!!
Yeah . I agree with you. Okay, thanks. Lol.
Internet 101: When in doubt, do a !w pipermail, or search Wikipedia.
!w pipermail gave me: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Mailman
i flashed the x200 myself(well someone did it for me at libreplanet but you
know what i mean)
http://download.gna.org/savane-doc/savane-install-guide-HTML/
it might be a good idea to keep a message telling people if they have this
problem to upgrade the to latest version
I have an x60 running libreboot.VGA port is working on Trisquel 7.
Did you bought it on the Gluglug website or did you flash it by your own?
You may give a try other distros and check if is Trisquel the problem.
Good point. Will do.
Thank a lot. ;D
Hi all, thanks for the replies.
Chris: Yes, I'd tried the wifi toggle switch on the left side and the FN+F5
command for wifi before posting.
risci_atom: ifconfig -a doesn't display anything other than eth0 as well.
It seems like this may be a hardware issue?
onpon4: I'm going to contact
Any other news from the front?
Also, I forgot to ask you about Bluetooth. Does it work?
i have a x200 thinkpad that i tried to connect to a tv with a VGA cable
when i connected it the message telling me it wasn’t connected disappeared
but all i got was a blank screen
its running libreboot but i was told on #libreboot that this was nothing to
do with libreboot and external
I installed version 20150518 today and that seems to have solved the issue
with starting the computer. No matter how many times I tried, I could not get
the extremely annoying --MORE--Unknown key 0xff-message to appear.
Why only those two?
And the debs in Ubuntu are cooked by the same people who provide the
sourcecode of the same.
No, they are not.
Dragora works with libreboot, I have a x60 running Dragora, never tried vga
on TV, but it worked with a video projector.
So I got tired of dealing with the new GNOME and ended up going with XFCE to
get the results I want. Had to play around with some things but it's getting
there. Screenshot attached.
Thanks everyone!

Are there instructions on how to install it manually?
I second this.
Yes. And the debs in Ubuntu are cooked by the same people who provide the
sourcecode of the same. I trust their sourcecode. I don't trust their debs.
Who guarantees you that nothing was added to the deb?
The question was: Do you have any idea why it's no longer in Debain 8 repo?
The answer was: Yes Trisk Spellian -
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=760853
me too. and an italian one.
can't help you with nvidia. welcome to the triskello community though!
i successfully installed it and it worked so i guess i have had success with
liberty bsd
Hi all.
I know this may be more of a general GNU/Linux admin question, rather than a
Trisquel-specific issue, but I am using Trisquel, so I think it's probably ok
to post here.
I've posted the issue over on LinuxQuestions.org, but it's not getting much
attention there. Here it is:
i spent about a week trying to get the wifi to work on my x60 and this was
the problem!
i think having a other languages forum would be a good idea as we probably
cant support every language on this forum at least yet
i think having a other languages forum would be a good idea as we probably
cant support every language on this forum at least yet
I mean, create one subforum in the Trisquel forums :P
I second this too.
Maybe a German one too.
I heard if piper mail somewhere, what is it?
