1. You can make XFCE look like anything you want if you look for more themes. A good place is here: http://www.xfce-look.org/ 2. If you right click on the panel and then select Panel, and then Panel Preferences you will get a window like what you see in the attached image so that you can set your panel up the way you like. but why don't you try other skype alternatives? there are others, like tox (really easy to use) and mumble. Pitifully, tox is still in alpha. So mumble can be a better option. Anyway, if you try it and report bugs, that'd be fine. Maybe this can be helpful https://jitsi.org/Documentation/FAQ

I'll be honest, a friend offer me to buy me one, the problem is that I'd like sth. like a Banana Pi or BeagleBoard. If I'm totally wrong, please, explain me as if I were a child.

buy the arduino uno. I have two arduinos for my solar panel projects, but I intend to use them for other projects too (rc projects, servo controller projects, ethernet projects, etc, etc) Arduino uno is the most used and there are lots of libraries for it. You could (as I did) buy arduino uno copy on ebay for half the price of the original. And it works exactly the same way and with the very same components. If you have time to give, is so cool... Keep going on!

I tried it shortly for a chat a while ago. It seemed ok. Even if it's not super smooth it look promising - provided that it really does pose an alternative with regards to security and privacy. Do you know anything about that?

You can install the arduino package (in Trisquel, and Parabola's 'community' repository).

When I tried to use Tox it was really buggy and crashed a lot, and video didn't work. This was about 6 months ago, and I hope it is more stable now.

I've installed it from a live cd and it works well for me. No Pidgin or Icedove but I assume more refinements will come :-)

I am a bit surprised that no one has answered this post. I would imagine the question of tox's quality as interesting and/or important to users of Trisquel. I hope someone will comment on this.

I don't really understand what I am supposed to do now with checking the connection. It's obviously alright since i can install any package except this kernel update. I proved that I can install any package. So the problem must be with this particular package. I don't know what it could be.
