UPDATE: My PocketCHIP arrived today. I like the device itself. It's a little
bulky but fits in my jeans pocket. The keyboard works pretty well. I'd hate
to write a long document with it, but terminal commands are pretty painless.
Fingers don't work very well with the touch screen, but a
I am not saying GitLab is the best foc freedom, but it is good enough.
This is all the problem it has:

LibreJS enabled. (B0)
- To be fair LibreJS is pretty buggy. And just because it doesn't work with
LibreJS is not
Maybe from the "Removable Media" tab of the "Details" in the "System

Awesome theme, I really like it, even more than Arc + Moka.

Moglen is a king. That vid you linked is highly recommended. +1
In Caja, go to Edit | Preferences | Media.
this no works? u_U
Try something like this then -->

I've had difficulty with several email confirmations sent to my riseup.net
account, but I have no reason to believe it's deliberate. It could just be
badly designed email servers, or it could even be the fault of Riseup's
automatic spam filtering software.
Some of you like Numix Circle, so you might be aware of Numix Square, but it
was released as free software recently, under GPLv3:

Looks cool :)

Hello.
What service do you recommend to host Mercurial repositories in a
freedom-respecting way? I note that I am not looking for a suggestion of
“run X free software in your own computer” (i.e.: self-hosting).
Thanks.
How? Is not like Fuchsia is proprietary software.
It is not like GPv2 prevents Tivotization of devices. And Smartphones are not
libre at all.
So... What is there to be lost?
Indeed, Fuchsia isn't a good thing, the loss of copyleft in smartphones
(even if today not fully compliant) could represent a real loss for
free/libre software movement.

I'm using the default Trisquel 8 DE which I hear is a tweaked Mate Desktop. I
can't find the option, which is why I'm asking.
Why not telling them about a better network like Mastodon, GNU Social,
Pump.io ???
Twitter is worst each day. Not only for freedom but also as a plataform.
Many old twitter users are moving to Mastodon.
> Why would you use twitter anyway? :P
I follow other users :)
What DE are you using ? There should be at option to set Default Applications
in the system configuration. Just disable it.
I don't see anything relevant to my concern. Currently, when I connect my
Camera, it automatically opens Shotwell. Temporary fix is to just uninstall
Shotwell. Sucks that it seems there is no obvious way to just disable
automatic opening of this app when I connect my camera.
Look in your file manager's options.
Had no idea. I guess corporations don't like nonprofits that are against
corporations, or that actually allow users full anonymity.
Why would you use twitter anyway? :P
I don't have an account on creddit but I enjoy browsing the few subs I am
interested in with rtv. Maybe take a look at that very nice program, I know
you can interact with the server, not only browse it, you can comment but I
don't know how good it is for posting stuff there as.. no account.
I'm using Trisquel 8 and when I plugged in my camera to my computer, I was
prompted with a message paraphrased as, "would you you like to automatically
start this device with an app"?
After having enabled it, I changed my mind and want to disable it. How do I
do this?

Welcome. I hope you enjoy the time you gonna spend on this forum.
Thanks everyone!
Can you give us more details as to what application you may be using ?

Why don't Twitter or Ebay let users with @riseup.net accounts use their
system?
twitter.com --> no registration is possible
ebay.de --> registration is possible but you won't receive the email to
confirm your email address, so you cannot purchase anything.
I am not aware of any other
Hello.
My quesiton is the one in the title. When I use Reddit I use it without
enabling JavaScript and I have noticed that it works partially. I can browse
and register, but I can't post. Is there a way to post without using Reddit's
proprietary JavaScript?.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks Magic Banana
Yes, I did attempt to "install Trisquel on the USB drive where the running
live system is" - Okay, I won't do that again. Good to know.
Apertium and other Apps in repository will be installed after Trisquel - I'll
wait for the arrival of my Trisquel laptop, while I read
The prompt comes up asking if I want to import a key then disappears after
click yes but no key is imported.
I updated all my software and still not working. Any idea what's going on or
how to fix?
