If you have a direct link to the channel you should be able to record using
streamlink, wget/save as, ffmpeg. youtube-sl/hypervideo, plowshare or some
other free software.
Hi. How have you been spending this weekend?
I would like to record the internet radio to save the internet traffic.
Because it is limited to some GB per month. I use Clementine to listen to
music. I would like to record a certain channel in this weekend. I did a
quick search in this forum
Or a song book and an acoustic guitar.

Make sure you also have youtube-dl installed. It doesn't call for it as a
dependency, but mps-youtube works like crap without it.
UPDATE 3
Success!
I downloaded the software from Github
(https://github.com/pdewacht/brlaser.git), and followed the instructions on
how to compile and install the program found within the file 'README.md'.
After the program was compiled and installed, I proceeded to print a test
page
It's probably also worth mentioning that checking GPG signatures is also what
the package manager does when you install programs from the Trisquel repo.
Whether or not Chromium is free or not, which I don't think it is, security
on chrome based web browsers is questionable.
Meh...
But its your call not mine. I don't run anyone elses life but my own. ;)
Who knows. Didn't it happen with GNU/Linux Mint?

Don't forget that kernel.org was also compromised. If someone cracks a server
to replace the downloadable programs they could also replace the checksums if
they live in the same place. The attacker already
It's not helpful when the attacker can both add their own malicious version
and also alter the posted checksums so that they match.
How likely are we to fall victims of such an offence?

A better option is probably things like GPG signatures. Assuming that you
trust the key (which is a whole different topic with assorted issues) then
you can

What did you try and what was the result?

GNU Guix packages Chromium. Perhaps Electron is OK now.

Get a huge disk and start hoarding music.

Thanks @strypey !
Yes, I figured this myself (during that chat), that yourrom.rom is actually a
handler pointing to the "rom" in place (means the one flashed onto the
system). If this is true, the commands can be used with "yourrom.rom"
straight away. But I read several times (in the
I do not think that is the error you committed. Maybe you ran 'sudo apt
autoremove' after removing all jxself's kernels.
Ah, I think I see what my error was. By using "purge" instead of "remove", I
not only removed the Linux kernel version that was causing me problems, but I
undid almost everything I did when I added your linux-libre repo in the first
place. A better approach would have been to use "remove",
Hi AyKay, what the users in the chat are trying to explain is that you are
not looking for a file called "yourrom.rom", there is no such thing. Rather,
it seems that "yourrom.rom" is a description of a thing you need to know the
name of.
This is like if I told you to run a command that
Oh, I remember nuclear now - weren't we looking at this a few months ago?
It's an electron app, so the electron arguments will get started all over
again. But I really liked this concept at the time, and it looks like it's
much better and more stable now. Downloaded and listening to my
For a simple jukebox, I like using mps-youtube. It's in the trisquel repo.
If you don't mind experimenting with new, independent, and freely licensed
music, I've found a ton of great tunes on libre.fm.
It says it's like mps-youtube, so yes, you should have all artists, including
recent and popular. As long as they have stuff uploaded to youtube, you
should be able to access it.
Is there a recommended one?
I know Etnaviv supports some SoCs with Vivante GPUs.

Do any of these boxes support free boot firmmware? Also, which distributions
can be installed on such boxes (I assume Debian supports some of them)?
Here is the answer from the Libreboot chat.

Hi there. (According to the thread above) I am to issue this for changing the
GRUB background image:
$ ./cbfstool yourrom.rom remove background.png -n background.png
$ ./cbfstool
You can download the .deb file:
https://github.com/nukeop/nuclear/releases/download/v0.5.1/nuclear-7e3bac.deb
If GDebi is installed, you can double-click on the file to install it. If
you prefer the terminal, then execute from the directory containing the file:
$ dpkg -i nuclear-7e3bac.deb
Hello dear community!
I want to have Cyrillic text on python graphs. I know how to that with python
2 on Ubuntu and with python 3 in another OS which I do not want to even say
it's name (the company I work in, use that OS, so I must work with it), but I
can not do it with python 3 on
In most cases I only install software from the Trisquel repo but for instance
for Trisquel itself, replicant images etc I download the install files and
verify them with shasum and gpg. I thought tha such verification is (or can
be) crucial to security - but perhaps it is not as useful as I
Wasn't there also a case with Linux Mint?
Thanks. I downloaded and extracted the zip-file. But I find no information
about how to install. Can you help?
There are some screenshots showing e.g. Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Do you know if
will we have access to recent music from famous (!) artists via Nuclear?
Yeah, that might do for me but the kids want here-and-now choices - like
their friends...
