Looks like the TEP wiki is coming along nicely. I just checked back yesterday
and saw some changes.
Since I couldn't find any real reviews, I basically re-approprated those
comment threads to see if I could glean any objective info from them.
I'm upgrading from an 802.11g router which has handled well everything I've
thrown at it, so I suspect an 802.11n router with 300Mb/s theoretical
Thanks very much for your input. I believe you're right about this line of
reputation. If I want any more info I should probably look into people's
experiences with OpenWRT.
I'm thinking of getting the Respects-Your-Freedom certified Wireless-N
Broadband Router(1), but I'm trying to identify potential drawbacks before I
commit. The only critical info I've found on the product is on Reddit(2), and
this thread on Trisquel forums(3).

I'd like to point out here that civilization is built on laws and regulations
that force people and corporations to do things they may not want to do in
order to promote common decency and the common good.
After installing Trisquel 7, I tried to install *Beneath a Steel Sky*, which
is dependant on package SCUMMVM, and found that there is no package for
SCUMMVM in the repository. Searching for SCUMMVM in Synaptic I found 4 games
depending on the package, but SCUMMVM itself does not exist.

How is it possible to get the torrent in order to seed it in the first place?
I'd gladly seed 24/7 from my Raspberry Pi.
My next question is how to enable DHT. Transmission supports magnet links and
I feel like that has something to do with DHT.
I just started the torrent on my Pi and it seems to be downloading even
though the warning not authorized for use with this tracker stays visible.
A couple of us are encountering this problem. It's bad because you need gtk
dev to compile lots of code. I managed to fiddle with Synaptic to quickfix
it. I hope it can be fixed once and for all 6.0.1 users in the future, but
until then, please try my solution here:
ThinkPenguin recommends this card (which admittedly is their product, but
they're libre-friendly I think in this case).

YW. To be honest I'd probably be using a simpler solution if I'd found one
first.
Apparently I have no idea how this mailing list works
I've been using openshift.com to host my website. It's by Red Hat and runs on
free software. For a simple website choose the diy cartridge and you must
use SSH keys and git on your local machine to manage and upload your web
pages, documents, and media into the app root. The free account
I finally managed to fix this as well using Synaptic, but it was tricky. I
had to try to install libcairo2-dev, get an error message. Then I clicked
Mark all upgrades which included DOWNGRADING libcairo2. After that I was
able to install libcairo2-dev and libgtk2.0-dev
Thank goodness!
I was unable to fix this by manually installing libcairo2-dev. I've even
tried it from the live USB. Is there another fix for this?

Most information I've found on xpad seems to be quite old, and it seems to me
there is development since 2002. I've come across xpad.txt several times.
I ended up searching the 'net for CONFIG_JOYSTICK_XPAD_LEDS which gave me
some leads. It lead me to gossamer-threads.com where I decided to
I've been working with the Linux driver for XBox controllers known as xpad.
Although I've been able to obtain a usable source file and modify it for my
own usage, I'm unsure of where to find the original upstream source code for
xpad. As there are a couple of serious bugs in the driver, I'd
I'd really like to try WindowMaker. I'm running Trisquel Mini 6.0. I've
installed package wmaker, and I can manage to run it using xinit. However, if
I try to launch it from LXDM, it fails and drops back to LXDM. I've tried
this both on my regular install and from a live USB.
I'm not sure
Gladly, and thanks for bringing Xorg Edgers to my attention.
