Thank guys for the answers...

In your opinion, How long will it take to have complete free hardware
(laptops, mobile phones, eReaders, etc) available to FSF users?

What do you think about that future? is it utopic?

You could not too long ago get an X60 elsewhere and have them flash
LibrebootThe website doesn't say so anymore but I don't see why.

[Trisquel-users] What happen to hardware?

2015-01-14 Thread golyn

Hello Guys,

I recently went to the glugglug shop website (http://shop.gluglug.org.uk/)
and I found that the X60 laptops aren't shown. Does that means that they
aren't sell anymore?

- If that's the case, What can be done? Any alternatives?

Furthermore, What is the status of FSF suported hardware-related projects?
What are the trends for the future?.

I post this topic with the idea of bringing back the discussion and to foster
knowledge share so freedom-concerning users could get informed.

so...Let's talk...

They're under the Discontinued filter, and they're out of stock.
ThinkPenguin has great laptops or desktops- they all are made to work with
the Linux-Libre kernel, and 100% Free Software.
