Trisquel 9 will be based on the as-yet-unreleased Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver". Including systemd.

I would like to see if Trisquel 9 is to liberate Devuan 2 "ascii" main, or simply importing OpenRC to the system from Devuan codebase.

I am so happy! Writing this from Trisquel 8 which is running exquisitely. I cannot wait for the final release. My ThinkPenguin wireless actually works on Trisquel 8 (unlike on Debian 9). Thank you Ruben!

Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for your power of miracles! At least quidam has resuscitate from the Dead Trisquel 7! No mere countdown clocks, Questioning and negative assumption about Trisquel. At least there is hope and there is a blink of light shinning at the end of the tunnel.
