Actually after this issue, I installed Manjaro, and started using it, but
after a while I feel bad about using a non-free os. So, I came back, and
updated kernel. Now, xbacklight program is working. (though I am not hundred
percent sure whether updating kernel is the reason for working

I struggled with this exact same issue for weeks. As far as I can tell in
mini there is no way to adjust screen brightness as well as many other system
features (like preventing the screen from going to sleep). I switched to the
normal trisquel version which works much better.
thanks, but I don't want to try to install kernel, or do other things at the
post. For now, they are too much computer stuff to me. :) Maybe later I try.
Ah, I forgot. Brightness keys are not working.

returns this: "No outputs have backlight property" How can I adjust
