It sounds like one of the normal page elements is covering the unofficial
video player you're trying to use.
I haven't had any such problems with ViewTube.

I'm using abrowser 39.0 and the Youtube all add-on. Until recently
everything was fine and I could watch videos on Youtube all day long.
Unfortunately, this is no longer possible. One or two days ago Youtube videos
started to only play sound and I can only see a black screen instead
Thanks a lot for your replies. I solved the problem by just disabling the
Youtube all add-on. Don't ask me why that worked, though.
Does that mean that it also doesn't work on your machine?
