A lot Trisquel users seem to have problems with their graphic card since
their Trisquel 7 update.
I can't understand, because my Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV370
[Mobility Radeon X300] graphic card is compatible with Gnu/Linux.
Is /home mounted to a separate partition?
If yes, then just make sure you don't format that partition when installing
Trisquel 6.
When you start the installer, choose something else, select the partitions,
click on the button that says change but select the same file systems,
check the box for format on ext but leave it unchecked on xfs.
If you clicked on the defaults, you're good.
sda1 (ext4) is / and sda6 (xfs) is home.

When you're finished, you'll have the same Trisquel 6 you had before the
upgrade to 7. In the installer, I think it's step 4? The default is to
install beside. You want to tick something else-- manual , or however it's
worded. Be sure not to format the xfs part, and when setting your
