Hello jxself,

Thank you for the answer. This sounds like something where the FSF staff  
would need to help me with, and probably it would take a lot of their  
(precious) time to reconstruct and test the machine and accomplish that. At  
this point I would still try to look elsewhere for an already complete and  
working laptop, but if I won't have any success finding it, then I could  
probably ask the people at the FSF for assistance.

It's only going to be second hand. The machine was discontinued some years  
ago and is becoming very hard to find. I have not seen one in a long time.  
The last time was at the FSF office. They had a bin of some of them that were  
in pieces because they had problems (defective screen, etc.) It might be  
possible to reconstruct one machine from all of the pieces, assuming that  
they still have that bin after all this time.

Hello Trisquel users,

A bit of an off topic question, but with many free software enthusiasts  
reading this forum, you might be willing to provide an answer for me. I am  
searching for a new or second hand Lemote Yeeloong laptop, mostly for  
historical reasons as a collectable item as I already own more recent free  
hardware laptop alternatives which I can use for my day-to-day work (Lenovo  
X200 & Chromebook ASUS C201PA). Preferably I am interested to obtain a  
Yeeloong 8101B model with 10.1" screen, but a 8089B or 8089D model with 8.9"  
screen could also work as an alternative. Could someone please suggest a  
website or a contact where it would still be possible to buy such a laptop,  
I've searched on the Internet and looked on EBAY and there are like none to  
be found. Or maybe someone owns one which s/he doesn't consider keeping it  
for much longer, and would be interested to sell it and ship it to me? It  
would need to be shipped into European Union. For any information related to
