Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I loaded the page thrice because it wasn't connecting quickly enough... whatever.
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
triple post, we have a winner :)
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
We know it "fails the test". You are not listening to us or the people on the Github page you linked us to. It is not a problem with GCC but something else. GCC 4.9 won't help. For all the trouble it is just compile G++ 4.9 yourself or use the PPA!

Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
Now I need G++ 4.9 because I need to compile TrinityCore (I found free WoW alternative client).
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
The people in that thread are using Ubuntu 14.04 and can make it work, which Trisquel is based on. Your problem is not GCC, it is something else. Try redownloading the source code and seeing what happens. Reinstall all the dependencies, and check you didn't fail to install one by mistake. I hope you solve the problem!
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
This test: https://github.com/google/certificate-transparency/issues/1233
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I assume it doesn't fail the test.
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
That is not what I asked you. Why G++ 4.9 in particular? Why is it special?
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I need newer G++ version. But I cannot use "restricted" PPA. For freedom reasons.
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
In what way does G++ 4.9 "fail the test"? Couldn't you use the Canonical development PPA to get the latest GCC toolchain? Any new feature added in GCC 4.9 would almost certainly be in GCC 5.x or 6.x.
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I need an normal (freedom respecting) PPA.
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
Restricted is one of the ubuntu repos, non-free. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_os#Package_classification_and_support
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
fails the test? https://thecassettedeck.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/fail-a-test.jpg
Re: [Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I need explanation for "restricted". I think in can break my freedom.
[Trisquel-users] I need a G++ 4.9. Where to find it?
I need G++ 4.9 because 4.8 fails the test. Where to find it? And if you recommends "restricted" PPA, please, explain what "restricted" means.
