Probably EFI. But it does not matter: the same ISO is to be booted (and yes, I gave you a direct link to download the 64-bit ISO). Notice that I suggested Trisquel 8 Alpha only for testing purpose. To install, you should either wait for the stable version of Trisquel 8 or install Trisquel

The problem is the lack of free firmware for most Wifi chipsets. Try Trisquel 8 Alpha and see: http://jenkins.trisquel.info/makeiso/iso/trisquel_8.0_amd64.iso You would also get better performances using the integrated Intel graphical chipset, not the GeForce card (assuming it is recent).
