Probably EFI. But it does not matter: the same ISO is to be booted (and yes,
I gave you a direct link to download the 64-bit ISO). Notice that I
suggested Trisquel 8 Alpha only for testing purpose. To install, you should
either wait for the stable version of Trisquel 8 or install Trisquel
The problem is the lack of free firmware for most Wifi chipsets. Try
Trisquel 8 Alpha and see:
http://jenkins.trisquel.info/makeiso/iso/trisquel_8.0_amd64.iso
You would also get better performances using the integrated Intel graphical
chipset, not the GeForce card (assuming it is recent).

Apart from Wifi (probably), everything should work great. Of course,
installing on the SSD would give you better performances.
