Very true.
I want an update too but being rude does not make it happen any faster.
Valid indeed, I will wait though. Trisquel currently is my choice. ;)
Ah just checking hehe.
Trisquel doesn't accept contributions (OK, very rarely). That is a valid
complaint, but I just moved to a different distribution.
"unless your talking about t3g."
Yes I am. :)
More than anything I am just curious when it will come out in beta and
stable. Not particularly complaining. IT is a good os. I just wondered when
trisquel 8 is coming out in beta or even stable.
So yeah... you can call it complaining if you want but it isn't completely
accurate for all
Great idea, although that's probably not as fun for them as coming to the
Trisquel forums and complaining.
Normally I wouldn't say this, but...
If you're so disgusted with the way Trisquel is being developed, why don't
you build your own distribution? Fork Ubuntu yourself and make, I dunno,
t3gbuntu and see how quickly you're able to roll out releases on your own
working for donations. Then
That is very vague...
But I shall assume it may take like six to nine months for it to come out as
a beta (6) or altogether. (9)
Again this is just a guess. So no need to jump down my throat. heh.
I really hope you guys incorporate 4.9 kernel in the repository at some point
for trisquel
Even though there are non-free elements of the OS, Solus has been a pretty
good example of doing a lot with a small team. I just wish Trisquel had the
manpower and commitment of the Solus team.
I don't know about you all, but my Trisquel 7 still runs wonderfully!
"I am curious when the beta will come out"
When it's ready.
I am curious when the beta will come out. actually but besides that I can
wait. ;)
Just have to say, I am diggin' the heck out of Trisquel8 right now. Been
using it for several weeks exclusively and I like the Mate DE and it's really
fast. I have pretty much everything I need, Gimp, Bluefish, Keepassx, Zim,
Transmission, claws-mail, and I'm sure more. I was able to get
Heh... I know t3g is.
they angry?
t3g I would have given you a thumbs up, but that last part of the comment,
"Pick up the fucking pace guys." was way off the mark.
I really don't think being rude is going to help speed things up. so yeah...
I agree with JadedCtrl rudeness will not help.
Sides, you have done this in the past
Jesus, mate, give Ruben & co. some space. Being rude isn't going to speed
anything up.
Either help out, wait quietly, or put your money where your mouth is and
donate.
Almost March 2017 when Ubuntu 16.04 came out in April 2016. Pick up the
fucking pace guys.
