Hey everyone. I am using jxself's PPA to get linux libre 4.9 LTS, on my
Trisquel 7.
Previously when I was using 3.4 I would get no output during boot, it was
fast and the only stuff appearing on the screen was asking for my password
(full disk encryption).
Ever since updating to 4.9, it appears a lot of messages about the missing
free firmware (related to my GPU I believe, which is ok, I don't use the
non-free firmware) and some messages about "ata2 softreset failed". Or
something like that.
It also takes a lot more time to boot. About 15 seconds longer than before.
Should I worry or is there I can do to put it fast like before?
