Epona is a godess as well. She is associated with horses.

It is a simple name.
Or ... what about a Roman god? Janus, the god of gates, doors, and
beginnings. The month of January was named after Janus, who had two
faces—one looking forward and the other looking backward, just like
Trisquel (the distro) looking up for you. Just a thought friends!
Searx is great indeed :)
It just came to my mind you can also use rkhunter (latest versions are
great). Give that a try.
sudo apt-get install rkhunter
sudo rkhunter -c -sk
cheers
Abandinus would be hilarious and future-proof if Ruben ever gets tired of
pushing out new versions.

Thanks for letting us know. This is information of greatest value..

Really? And what would that be exactly?

+1 for Abandinus
I absolutely prefer Abandinus \o/
If I may add one: Oblitus
If you are willing to spend time with testing the USB bug, you can maybe
contact quidam by IRC. If I remember right, yesterday he was looking for people
with that problem to provide him with more feedback.

Thanks for the exciting news!
Abandinus ... the only issue that I see with this one is that in spanish it
sound like "abandonado", left out. And we don't want to give the impression
of Trisquel being abandon, left out :-)
A driver is necessary. The help desk probably said that it should be
installed by default in your distribution. Is the package
"printer-driver-all" installed on your system? If so, it may be that the
printer is recent and Trisquel 7 does not have the driver. Trisquel 8 may
have it. Try
Janus is a cool god, but the same has already been used in tech:

It certainly has a big database, but the download options seems to consist of
torrents with no seeders, and .chm files, which seems like a dodgy thing to
open on a local machine from an untrusted source.

awesome skull and flag! are you from the Island or raised in the USA,?
About abandinus
Abandinus was a name used to refer to a Celtic god or male spirit worshipped
in Godmanchester in Cambridgeshire during the Romano-Celtic period.

So, I'm trying to install Trisquel on a x200s using a Kingston A400 SSD with
2GB of RAM.
I partitioned the drive like so:
[*]/dev/sda1 ext4 /boot 200MB
[*]/dev/sda2 swap 12GB
[*]/dev/sda3 ext4 / 30GB
[*]/dev/sda4 ext4 /home 76.8GB
But when I start the installation I'm getting:

Camulus (Camulos, Camalos) is a god of war and sky.
Other terms that might be found are a German band (spelled Camulos) and a
museum called Rancho Camulos. Those don't rank very high in the searches I
made.
Thanks for all these suggestions, particularly the ones involving bash
script, which I'm keen to learn more about.
>> I also recommand the libre format opus, available in SoundConverter who is
much more better than the old mp3 for a good lossy format for your future
convertions.
First of all I'd like to welcome you to the Trisquel forums:
Welcome, enjoy your stay :)
To address your problem, please post the disk label you chose when defining
the partitioning scheme.
What about Etiona?
"Etiona is a Celtic goddess worshipped in Gaul; she is known only from
inscriptions in Etrechy, France, where she was accompanied by her fellow
deities Carantana, Isosa, Gnatus, and Hidua ... The origin of Etiona’s name
is unclear. I have seen it suggested that it derives
heh, sorry I wasn't trying to sound condescending.
You already know why, ;) hint* sys* *hint tem* *hint D* hint*
Also though, the updates are much more infrequent, especially icedove. which
last I checked is still at 38.8 on trisquel 7.
And yes, this post was irrelevant.
sorry about that.
VLC seems better imo.
Or what about Garmangabis?
"‘those who consider the bare of the weaver’, British goddess
of fortune that is revered in Lancashire, northwest England. The Romans
brought her to England."

Thank you!
I'm using GPT as the partition scheme.
I'm a new Trisquel user. I'd like to use the Super key to open or close the
menu.
In Keyboard Settings, I found an option to "Show the activities overview"
with Super+S.
Is there any way to both open and close the activities overview with the
Super key?
That's good to know.
I better specify however: I was asking for the names you put in when creating
the partitions, as I suspect that special characters in the names of the
partitions or the disk itself, which might cause the errors you described.
Basically, try installing with as simple a na
Oh, sorry. I should probably correct the post. No special characters in the
names. See the attached image.

There are various options, two of them work just fine without javascript,
namely b-ok.org and bookfi.net

ok :P
CHM is just glorified HTML (with an index):

I would use "SMART Data & Self-Tests..." in the "gear" menu of "Disks" (in
the "System Settings") to check the health of the hardware. It can be done
from the live system.
Why does it need to be a Celtic god?
Just wondering:)
Thanks for updating. We can rule that out, then. I suggest trying the
suggestion Magic Banana made.
You will never get any reference to trisquel if you enter "epona" into your
search engine, since it will always show results about the horse from "the
legend of zelda".
"Why does it need to be a Celtic god?"
I don't suppose it "needs" to be anything right? But to follow with
tradition. You may as well ask why does Debian need to be named after Toy
Story characters or why Ubuntu needs an adjective+animal combination. Or why
any particular distro needs to be
