To be honest that's the method I used. The only bug I've found is reported

Been using Flidas since than.
You can also run update-manager -d, which allows you to upgrade to prerelease
versions
This might work, but have you tested it, and is it the recommended method?
Change your repositories from Belenos to Flidas, and you'll be able to do
such.
I have trisquel 7 mini by the way, and would like to continue with trisquel 8
mini
