David at the end of the day we have to engage the material in this case TROM and work all the way through until complete before we can make a final evaluation for ourselves .else we can get ourselves into a terrible tizzy deliberating about the methodology, other related methods etc. The mind loves complexities, as you know. And we run the very real risk of never fully engaging the material if at all through not committing to the process of doing TROM. The work has to be done.
Certainly if some aspect seems unclear we should ask if the answer does not arise through going over the material several times. Personally I've had to read TROM several times over a period of several years before I started doing TROM. In fact I started then stopped then started again all the way through to level 5 which I'm busy with. All the best.
