Just to clarify, .pif, .scr and .vbs files were blocked a week or two ago
during the recent virus outbreak problem.
The issue of whether to allow any executable email attachments was
discussed this week at the ITAC meeting and the decision was made to not
allow any executable email attachments.
A note for those of you that might go into system administration in
the future. I would also recommend getting software that checks
inside of zip files. There are a few new virii using this to get
around file checks like this.
