I don't use it on Redhat, but I checked the version of gaim on new-mercury (which is Redhat) and its 0.59.8. That is relatively old (given the fast pace of development on Gaim, the current version is 0.71), and I doubt its going to work with either MSN Messenger or Yahoo!. It should probably work on AIM... what exactly is the problem your having?
