Casey Kasem is probably the highest profile person of Arab descent in
America.

They also distribute (to about 200 stations, they say)
the repackaged versions of Kasem's '70s and '80s shows
(I love the '70s ones, always will), and those will
continue.
Do you know of a way to listen to the 70's show online?
I've actually found the show podcasted by
Scott Fouru, to moi and PGage:
For awhile, XM Satellite Radio was running (and heavily
promoting) the historical shows by CK. But after the
post-merger programming homogenization, I think they have
fallen off the schedule.
They still list them on Sirius 70s on 7 and 80s on 8, along with XM 8
In recent years, Kasem's current countdown shows have been based on
AC and Hot AC charts, not the Top 40/Hot 100 fare that The
Metrosexuals (Seacrest, Billy Bush) do. Last time I heard American
Top 10 (the AC chart show), the program was about 30% countdown and
70% dedications, artist/group
colonial, in part, to moi:
Believe SiriusXM airs classic Casey on weekend mornings
and afternoons -- I know XM aired both shows (along with
classic Rick Dees countdowns) in the same slots pre-merger.
Some of you had links in the post to the pages at sirius.com and
xmradio.com which list when
On 90s on 9, they still run Dees' countdown.
Its listed on the 90s on 9 site

I know the 70s version airs on the 70s on 7 channel as well, as I
have heard it within the past few weeks, but I can't find a link
Pilot episode available for free on iTunes on the show's podcast
channel (minus the swear words).
In honor of chiefs past, the telegebra on this show would be something
along the lines of:
M*A*S*H - Scrubs + Ally McBeal + ER (the sitcom where Clooney played a
nurse) = Nurse Jackie
Not a bad
