First off, that video is in *really good* quality for 1966. Second, I'd wager the It's Academic production budget is comparable to the College Bowl production budget, *maybe* adjusted for inflation. Earle is certainly capable, if squarely of the era. And the 1966 game would have shook me. David

I know College Bowl was a non-televised thing when I was in college. The DC area has televised a high-school level equivalent, It's Academic, forever.  Between that and my own college level experience, I don't think it makes the greatest television.  Hopefully Peyton is less Nationwide Peyton
