I have been reading a bit about this, and the main thing that comes through
is they still don’t really know what they are doing with this. For some
reason they had a need to announce this as a placeholder, while they figure
out the details.
As Adam suggests, a lot of those details surround how
Hogan was retired when he sued Gawker. Having Musk pay attorney fees to
make a right wing point would mean a long long civil litigation process
that would make Carano unemployable to mainstream studios. Who would hire
an actor who sues the studio for a dispute?

I think Musk is trying to help Carano like Peter Thiel helped Hulk Hogan in
his lawsuit against Gawker.
Ringwald is already planning her next role in a Murphy project, after
telling Seth Meyers she wanted to play a "psycho b!tch"... *that* I'd like
to see!
And Mark is right about which Carson she played...
And what’s Elon’s track record in these matters? He’s got a dozen other
things to keep him distracted. Disney Legal can stay focused.

Here’s the thoughts Iger could have: Based on the expert scientists and
doctors, Carano was advocating behavior which would have led to even more
Covid related illnesses and deaths than we were already facing at the time.
She posed a danger to herself and others, and it was decided Disney could

As I understand it, the original masters still exist, but are no longer
available if someone wanted to for whatever reason wanted to rerun the show
(that's how they were able to make the latest DVD collection for Shout that
had some but not all of the music restored.)

I thought all of the 'original music' episodes were lost to time and lack
of foresight...?

After over 50 years with the public radio network, where she was an initial
employee, Linda Wertheimer announced her retirement yesterday--a former
host of "All Things Considered," Wertheimer, 80, did not say her last day
but wrote a heartfelt tribute to her colleagues, which is in the link:
"Animal Control," the Joel McHale workplace comedy that is one of only
three scripted live-action series on the current Fox schedule, won't begin
its second season until next month (with a lead-in in the weakening "Masked
Singer"), but Fox has already given it a renewal for a third
I am 70 minutes into this audio file, and it's great. It seems they
have edited it so the time-checks ("it's 8:03 in Cincinnati") are in order.
If you liked WKRP, I highly suggest you download the audio file to your
phone so you can play it in the car, or walking the dog, or whatever.

I think the only way you can get sports fans to pay that level of monthly
prices is to have home games available. I get ESPN+ as part of the Hulu
bundle and I can watch NHL games with every team except my home team. My
friend, who just got rid of his $230 a month cable subscription, was happy

There’s no point in Shannen pursuing this, because it is a no-win scenario.
If Shannen’s allegations are correct, then all she’s proven is that a
second-tier former child actress had more clout in the industry than
Shannen did at the time, or Shannen truly was abhorrent to work with, and

Where she continued her battle with Alyssa Milano (whom was at a "Who's The
Boss" panel earlier in the same event) over the latter's alleged "me or
her" ultimatum to producers back in the day... Milano would respond, again,
on Instagram later...
I guess it's all about the maths.
When there were 100m cable homes each paying, say, $7 a month for ESPN
regardless of whether they watched it or not because it was "part of the
bundle", ESPN could be both very profitable AND dig deep for sports rights.
