I had read (but can't seem to find the original piece) that Clarkson was
taping six episodes a week, doing two-a-days to accommodate taping for The
Voice.
But she's already run through some of those banked shows, as I think she
released a video from her Montana cabin the same day her show ran
I don't remember the laugh track, but one might have been there (I do
remember the black and white footage).
In addition to the other guests, Seth MacFarlane was also interviewed. He
scored points with me for his shout-out to science and for saying that he
lives with cats.

For his monologue he had a laugh track accompanied by old black and white
footage of an audience applauding. The rest of the show was done from his
backyard and basement, with no laugh track, and he had remote
