Corden appeared on Kimmel to promote his Sirius XM show.
He said no one believes he wasn't fired.

I was about halfway through this when I realized I don't care enough about
Corden to pay attention to whether he's canceled or not. I found him irritating
when I first saw him in "The History Boys" (which was a play and production I
hated) and my opinion of him has only lessened in the
And as Jimmy-boy was enjoying breakfast with Dave Itzkoff of the *Times* (at

McNally announced the ban on Instagram, then posted that Corden called him
to apologize and he was rescinding the ban. None of this should have been
made public as it was a dispute between restaurant management and a
customer. Reading the articles doesn’t give me an impression of Corden as

Was the apology public? I thought the piece said that Corden apologized to
the owner and the owner made it public. But I did not read the original
article so I may have missed something.

In a related story, USA Today attempts to answer the question: "Why do we hate
celebrities?"
What McNally did was obnoxious and unethical. He owns a private business
and if he wants to ban a customer for objectionable behavior, I have no
problem with that. But to shame the customer in public is over the line.
Corden’s public apology puzzles me. If he felt like he did something wrong,

That McNally might make a great host, although it'll take someone outside of
CBS/Paramount to actually enlighten him about that, and by then Corden's
replacement will have been found.

At least in modern Who the Doctor tends not to sing.
I figured since Corden was already on two episodes of Who he probably wasn't
going to be the next Doctor. And yes, I know they made an exception with
Capaldi.
