Maybe if I had watched Late Show before Conan, I'd have put two and two
together...because I was thinking Bonamassa's drummer looked a *lot* like Anton.
As for the bonhomie between Shaffer and Batiste, TIL (though the article has
been around for a while) that the two had met *before* Batiste
Anton was in L.A., playing behind Joe Bonamassa on "Conan." I understand
that Will was in Europe.
