Charlotte is undergoing an affiliate swap on July 1, as the current CW/My
duopoly was purchased by Fox TV Stations. The current Fox affiliate is
switching to CW on July 1st.
This gives us strange things like:
After American Idol, the 10:00 news had interviews from the CW up fronts.
The Fox
ESPN, which has been carrying more and more of the tournament in recent
years, will take full control in 2015, ending CBS' 46-year run. This move
leaves the French Open (contracted to NBC through 2024) as the only Grand
Slam tournament left on broadcast television.
