while back. (FWIW, DirecTV’s cut-and-copy does not include The CW

More than 100 Nexstar Media stations in 97 markets nationwide went
dark on AT’s DirecTV, DirecTV Now and AT U-verse when the
companies’ current contract expired overnight. Each blamed the other
for the action.

They were blurred in the promo, but you don't know if they were blurred in
the syndicated episode, right? Perhaps it's an advertising issue?
