The writing on season 11 led me to not bother with any subsequent episodes.
If the new Joel episodes surface on a free service (or one I’m already
paying for) I’ll check them out. But the RiffTrax guys have maintained a
steady level of quality, so I’ll happily give a few bucks for one of their
riffs than any of the new MST3k.

The Hollywood Bowl does screen the audience with metal detectors, although 
they're less restrictive on items that can be brought in than similar venues 
(as a result of the longtime tradition of bringing a picnic to eat before a 
show and/or wine to drink during).
