[TV orNotTV] ESPN Made Up Producer Names to Give Emmys to Hosts

The Athletic reports that from at least 2010, the Worldwide Leader would 
list fictitious associate producer names on the credits lists they 
submitted to the Sports Emmys and give the awards for the non-existent 
people to on-air talent, who were ineligible for the programs, since there 
were awards for individuals and the Emmys considered on-air people being 
nominated for programs "double dipping"-- it is estimated that over 30 
Emmys to fakes over the years, most notably for "College Game Day," were

That’s frankly grotesque.

It reminds me of when someone did a half-decent impersonation of Robin
Williams a couple years ago, but people insisted on tagging his daughter in
the video, even after she spoke out about how painful it was for her to
watch.

Glad I'm Dead," which features an artificial intelligence-generated version 
of the late comic--needless to say, his daughter Kelly says that the 
program was made without her approval and that "no machine will ever 
replace his genius":
