The movie was by the same director who did "Parasite," and deals with similar 
themes of class warfare. (I think it's only a remake of "The Wizard of Oz" in 
the sense that any movie in which several people team up while on a journey to 
do battle with someone is a remake of "The Wizard of Oz.") The TV show expands 
on the world in which the movie is set, and I think it does it pretty 
effectively, especially in the first two seasons.
