Well, the Duke was barely present for most of the most recent season, so
the actor departing doesn’t leave as big a hole as it would have in season
one or two. But they did have terrific on screen chemistry.

actually watch. 

Miss Scarlet on her own can be a little hard to take, but what has made the 
show work was the way she interacted with everyone else. But first Moses 
disappeared at the beginning of season 4 (I think they only mentioned his

and Wife"). Then season 4 ended with Nash in jail and Eliza back to working 
on her own. And now she will have no Duke for her to play off of.

investigate cases unless they introduce a whole new supporting cast... 
what's the point of continuing the series?
