Someone has said that the good thing about the Bell sales is that they're
selling the stations to smaller companies who might be willing to make the
stations more, uh, local, unlike the States, where the big chains were
selling either to each other or the big Bible-thumpers like EMF ("K-LOVE").

I had to go back and check if a longtime Bell property, AM 580 CKWW ("from the

unloaded... there is an application for transfer of it and two other stations

November said no format changes were planned...

of a truckload of radio stations and CTV cuts 4800 jobs.   (It's like
