Is there a way to see the demographics (age, sex, location) of a
user's followers with the twitter api? Any information would be
greatly appreciated.

I'm using the 'Tweetbox' to great affect on a page with a streaming
video.
It works great except that after one tweet per user the box empties of
it's default content.
In other words the user experience I want is:
User shows up, tweet box is auto populated with @the_person_listening
They tweet,
