you know what, you are right, I don't know exactly why, but I'm not
performing an HTTP GET but an HTTP OPTION.
This can be related to FireFox 3.5 (see
http://hacks.mozilla.org/2009/07/cross-site-xmlhttprequest-with-cors/)
but even if this is the reason I have no idea on how to solve the
problem...

Do you guys have any idea?
