[twitter-dev] Tweet counts are jumpin', and the cotton is high?

It looks like the sudden jumps in tweet counts have started getting worse. I filed an issue today (http://code.google.com/p/twitter-api/ issues/detail?id=1425). Someone else just filed a similar one (http:// code.google.com/p/twitter-api/issues/detail?id=1427), and two more people I know just saw
