I have enter both of the twitter request forms for whitelisting and
twitter source. I think the whitelisitng was approved but how can I
tell progammatically if this is the case. Secondly I realise twitter
are v.busy but how long can I expect to wait for the change to the
twitter source
You'll receive a confirmation email for approval or rejection of
whitelisting, and an email for approval of a source parameter. You
can tell you've been whitelisted programmatically by looking at the
/account/rate_limit_status method.
OAuth is still heading towards a beta
I think it would be great if the part of the API docs (or wherever it is)
that tells you how to get an identifier were expanded to cover this sort of
question. It comes up over and over again, so it's clear the docs could be
more helpful and/or more prominent.

Hi all,
Does anyone know how long it takes to get an IP whitelisted? I submitted a
request yesterday. Not being able to make more than 70 requests an hour
makes development and testing impossible...
