I've noticed that several accounts that no longer exist on twitter are still returned when accessed via the API.
Example: http://twitter.com/users/show/fitnesstwit.xml (returns a valid xml dataset) Despite the fact that http://twitter.com/fitnesstwitt returns a "sorry that page doesn't exist" error. All help is appreciated.
