Is there any way to configure the application description so, that it
will appear in the user interface language? As far as I can see in the
app settings section - there is just one description field with no
internationalization options.

There aren't currently any options to do this, however that is a fantastic
feature idea.

Agree that this would be a great feature for the platform to have, but as
Scott Tom said, it's currently not supported.
Your description can be up to 200 characters long - if your message is
simple, you might be able to present a few languages in the same field.
