Hello, I'm working on a project where I just need to accumulate information from users. Particularly the number of followers. I can do this just fine with cURL and providing a username and password for authentication. The key is that the script can run without any interaction from a human being. The script will run every night at midnight to gather that one stat from all of my clients customers.
I don't fully understand oAuth but it kind of sounds like I will have to have a user interaction to allow permission to the system. Is this the case. After August 16 will there still be a way to directly access and gather data? Thank you for your help!
