Hi develop team, I am the developer of Twigee which is a twitter client for android platform. I understand that the source parameter could be registered using OAuth. But, there are some reasons I still would like to request a source parameter.
1. The oauth pages are blocked in some countries such as China, and most of my users are come from China. OAuth might not work when my app needs to grant the access from twitter page in oauth request progress. 2. I would like to keep various login methods for my app because it is based on mobile phone and the basic authentication will be easy for users.
