Repeated automated queries like this should be done on the Streaming API. You can track on words like youtube to grab various domains, track on keywords that indicate a video URL extension, or, you could apply for the Links stream and process all links however you'd like.
You should not start off by hitting the Search API. In most cases, your results will be filtered for relevance.
