Hello,

at our application we have a rare problem.
Our application does a cyclic UDP communication with other hosts.
The application sends cyclic every 4 seconds UDP requests to the other
hosts and analyzes the replies.
It is build with Borland C++ Builder 5.0.

After a runtime of about two or three hours I got a message box with the
text "C++ exception".
The communication thread is stopped.
It seems, that the problem doesn't occure, if I build a debug version and
let it run inside of the BCB IDE.
So far I see no chance to encircle the problem.
As far as I see, the problem first occurs, since we are using Windows XP
with servicepack2.

Have anybody an idea, how to find the reason of the C#++ exception, how to
get closer to the problem?
Are there problems knwon with winXP SP2?

Thanks
Regards
Markus Bartat
