Sunday Jazz & Brunch at Weaver Street Market:
When:  Sunday, October 27, 2002
Time:  10:30 AM
Where:  Weaver Street Market, 101 E. Weaver Street, Carrboro (919-929-0010 x-100)

Come out and enjoy The Outliers - a Hacker Swing band!  Great coffee, fresh baked goods, and an assortment of a la carte brunch items are served from 10 until 1.  Music is 11 until 1.  Bring a friend, a chair and a big appetite for great food and music!   Look for Marc Harber first at one of the outside tables.  But if those tables are filled you'll find him on a green blanket on the lawn.  For those of you who don't know Marc, he'll be wearing a tan colored Durham Bulls 100th anniversary cap with the number 100 printed on the front and a bull charging through the middle zero.  He'll also be wearing glasses and sporting a goatee.

Directions are listed below.  The directions suggest getting off Interstate 40 at exit 266 if coming from Raleigh.  But Marc suggests getting off at exit 273B (Route 54W to Chapel Hill) and following 54W.  After about two miles, there will be an entrance ramp on the right, immediately after the underpass, where 54W will merge with 15-501 South.  From there, you can follow the set of directions below which begin with From Route 54.  For more information about the Weaver Street Market, you can visit the Weaver Street Market Website at http://www.weaverstreetmarket.com/ or call them at 919-929-0010, ext. 100.

Weaver Street Market is located at 101 E. Weaver Street, at the junction of Weaver Street and Main Street in the heart of downtown Carrboro.  It is part of the Carr Mill Mall property, but the market is the newer building just in front of the Mill building itself.  Look for a wide lawn and a brick building with a green-roofed arcade around the ground floor.

From Chapel Hill:
To reach Weaver Street Market from Chapel Hill, travel West on Franklin Street. As you enter Carrboro, and Franklin Street becomes Main Street, continue on Main Street.  When you cross the railroad tracks, make an immediate right turn into the parking lot.

From Raleigh or Greensboro:
Coming from Raleigh or Greensboro on Interstate 40, take exit number 266-- Route 86-- in the direction of Chapel Hill and Carrboro.  Go 2.5 miles, and right on Estes Drive Extension, following the sign to Carrboro.  Estes Drive ends at Greensboro Street, where you turn left.  Travel on Greensboro to the first light, which is Weaver Street, and turn left.  Again at the first light, turn left into the parking lot.  Be careful making this last turn.  It's a three-way intersection and oncoming traffic usually has a green light.

From NC-54:
From Route 54, the bypass around Chapel Hill, take the Greensboro Street exit.  Follow the ramp signs to Greensboro Street and downtown Carrboro.  The second light at the top of the Hill is Weaver Street.  Make a right, and then at the first light turn left into the parking lot.
