Looking through the archives I could not find the answer to my question.
On a dual battery setup is the second battery the same size as the main
battery?
If not, what size is it? My bus has a water pump and a fridge.

I am helping a friend with a vehicle that he installed Weber 40's in. They are in an
early vanagon air cooled.
Well anyway, he "t"ed the fuel line right before the right carb.shouldn't the fuel

Hey Dave & Chopper,
Let me attempt to answer the questions in one full swoop. First, check out
the website here: http://www.reflectixinc.com/rv.asp
I guarantee, go into a home depot (or where ever) & wrap your arm up in this
stuff, you'll sweat in no time. It's just a thick aluminum foil with
The headliner is indeed wood with a vinyl wallpaper-like covering. I
removed the vinyl as it was peeling and partly missing. Then I removed the
wood part and painted it white and reinstalled. I left the old glue and
painted over it and got that textured original look. YMMV, Jay

Try a product called Reflectix. I'm living in Alberta, Canada & it's
freezing here. Not like the pussy Tenessee/Southern US freezing (you'd all
perish here). My whole bus is fitted with this product which is amazing as
its totally flexible, never rots and can be cut & made into any shape with

I am going to try to look in VW graveyards this weekend, but any leads would
be helpful.

I've seen vinyl headliners in several catalogs but it's not clear which is

Had a similar problem a while ago. Found a
broken ground connection (inside the dizzy)
that was making intermittent contact. Fixed the
ground strap in there and the problem went away.
