I like to protect the typo3 folder as it is also described in
doc_core_inside.
However the media pagecontent is always calling swfobject.js from the
typo3 folder which then calls for a password. in Typo3 4.3.3 I had to
directly patch the cms files. Is there another solution, because

using html5 code. It's not XHTML compliant any more. Maybe some XHTML
cleaning puts the br into place?

Found it, turned out there was some extension called 'extended links' causing
the troubles. Removed i tand it was fixed.
Props for the Typo3 builders btw, i was able to upgrade a 4.0.1 version to
4.5.7 in just 2,5 hours. Awesomeness.

you could rewrite all calls to typo3/contrib/* to a copy of that
directory on your server (containing all the necessary files), for
example typo3_contrib.

ric_rotation's statistics is not reliable. macina_banners doesn't support swf.

hey, it works! I just didn't save first, the swf files come visible only after
you first save the record as flash banner. And only then you can choose the
file.
