I have a TYPO3 installation with one tree multiple languages with config.
sys_language_overlay = content_fallback.
I'm using TT News and some records do not have translation in a certain
language. Is it possible to parse different rules for the teaser crop based
on something like this

The way it's implemented is that you can only change the default order by using
piVars:
orderBy (which should be a fieldname) and orderByDir (which can be ASC or DESC).
I think the GET parameters should be like this:
tx_t3blog_pi1[blogList][orderBy]=author
